How I love to have a Portugal vacation !

May 21st, 2009 by callister

I have to admit it that lately I always feeling depressed and miserable like something is missing in my life. What I’m sure is it has got nothing to do with people around me. I’m happy with all of them but somehow something isn’t right. It’s possible to figure it out but I think I could really use some vacation right now, maybe a Portugal vacation can help me figure out what is that I’m missing in my life.

Why Portugal? Is it because I adore Cristiano Ronaldo? Nope, it has got nothing to do with him. In fact, I really hate him because of his arrogance although I have to admit he got some skills on the balls. I love Portugal because of the culture and the people there. There are a lot of things that we can see and go there. For example, Portugal has a lot of great beaches like Meia Praia beach which is very beautiful. Also there are a lot of historical places and old architecture buildings than I can visit and Portugal is also famous for it’s shopping centers. Maybe I should take the Portugal family vacation so that if I bought a lot of things, I have someone to help me carry some of it.

In Portugal, the people speak Portuguese so it’s a foreign language for me. Other languages that available here is French and English but both are not really common and only a small percentage can speak fluent English. Maybe it’s best to get a Portugal tour operator so that the tour operator can help us in communication and translations. Although I don’t really have any plans yet for Portugal, but I think it’s best to save it for the next few months. The football season is now over and I think the pre-season matches will start after 3 months. Being a soccer fan myself, why don’t we catch some football action from Porto FC or Sporting Lisbon while we’re there? It’s just a shame if we missed it !

    hah.
interesting choice i should say. but then again portugal will not be one of my choice for the fact that a friend of mine told me that it is kind of hard to get a halal food there.
its best to go to places like france because they claim that its much easier (perhaps, just a teensy slight easier) to obtain halal food there.
other than that, i bet the view in portugal will be spectacular, considering the fact that the country is brimming full of historical landmarks and beautiful points.
ah. i wish i have cash to burn.
