But sometimes, we need to forget about cost for awhile in order to achieve the most important aspect in the job, mostly when it comes to something that is indispensable to the company.

If you have a medium to big sized business and there are a lot of people who came to your website to look for information, it’s hard to keep up with all the traffic and the bandwidth. Furthermore, if you’re using the server for something else, like a gateway for your office network, a jumphost and others like file storage, ftp or VPN gateway. Unless you’re getting a dedicated line for your office, your server can’t keep up with the traffic from the users. It’s time for you to get a managed VPS.

Blog is now live on a managed web hosting

Finally, after nearly a year of blogging, we decided the switch our web hosting from Mercu Maya to DataKL hosting. It’s not really because of the price but more to accomodate the growth of the blog and to serve people coming from search engines like Google better. Usually the traffic from search engines will come from United States and United Kingdom which needs slightly better link to serve them well. Don’t get me wrong. I pretty much satisfied with my previous managed web hosting especially the support that we have throughout the year and for that, we are very grateful.
